Ground Penetrating Radar

Safe, efficient, and cost-effective excavation and construction

Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is a technology used to detect underground objects. It is very effective at reporting underground anomalies and giving the operator a simple visual showing the approximate size and depth. GPR can locate buried pipelines (metal and polymer), cable ducts, tunnels, foundations, underground streams, filled wells, steel-reinforced concrete slabs, and other substrates that are dissimilar to the surrounding substrate.

Benefits include:

  • Safety: GPR devices help reduce the risk of accidents by detecting unknown underground objects, potentially saving lives and preventing injuries.
  • Efficiency:  Helps minimize downtime and unexpected costs associated with late discovery of unknown underground objects during excavation.
  • Accuracy: Provides accurate location and depth of underground anomalies, leading to more accurate and efficient excavation processes.
  • Long-term savings: Reduces the need for costly repairs and legal liabilities associated with accidental damage to underground utilities.
  • Environmental impact: Helps avoid environmental damage by preventing accidental punctures of pipelines and other underground structures.

Our GPR can be deployed in less than 5 minutes with up to 130 feet depth penetration. High-resolution imaging, multilingual operation, and an intuitive user interface make it easy to dig safely.
